Frequently Asked Questions

About the Spanish courses

What is the minimum age to study a Spanish course at your partner schools?

You will have to be a minimum of 18 years old to participate in one of the Spanish courses.

Will there be a placement test for my Spanish level?

Yes, on your first day at school, you’ll take a placement test to determine your level. This helps the school to place you in a class that best matches your current skills, ensuring an effective learning experience.

What is the maximum number of students per classroom?

Our classes are designed to be small and interactive, typically with 8-10 students per group. This allows for personalized attention and maximized speaking opportunities. In some exceptions, classes can be upto 15 students.

What materials will I need?

Course materials are typically provided and included in the course fee. These may include textbooks, worksheets, and access to digital resources, depending on your course type.

Do I receive a certificate at the end of my course?

Yes, upon completion of your course, you will receive a certificate of attendance detailing the level and duration of your studies, which can be useful for academic or professional purposes.

What happens if I’m unable to attend a class?

We understand that sometimes things come up. If you’re unable to attend a class, let the school know, and they will provide you with any missed materials or resources. For One to One courses, you can reschedule the class with prior notice latest the Friday before.

Can I book a course without accommodation?

Absolutely! Students are welcome to enroll in our Spanish language courses without booking accommodation through us.

Will there be classes on public holidays?

In Spain and Catalonia, national and local holidays occur on specific dates, such as January 1st and 6th, Easter Holidays, May 1st, August 15th, September 11th and 24th, October 12th, November 1st, and December 6th, 8th, 25th, and 26th. If your school week coincides with a local or national holiday, the school will not reschedule, refund, or offer discounts. If there are two such holidays in a single week, the school compensates by either adding an extra day of classes or redistributing the hours across other days.
